While sitting at the window today, I spotted a dark bird up at the top of a dead tree. Getting out my binoculars, I was happy to discover a Bobolink perched there, a lifer for me. When I pulled out my dog-eared Audubon guide, the map showed that they are not normally in this area, but my neighbor says she sees them, too. Does my Audubon guide need to be updated (it is rather old)?
