My wife and I and another couple just completed our 9 day trip to the Evergreen state. We birded both sides of the Cascades The trip was a great success due to help from Tweeters postings. We could not have done it without your help. We had 183 species, not bad for early July. The trip ended in Westport for the pelagic trip which had great weather and a very nice variety of birds. I'd like to personally thank Gary Bletsch, Rolan Nelson, Jeff Kozma, Marv Breece, Kathy Andrich, Theresa Lorenz who emailed me with more specific information. I'd like to give the "Giving help to out of state birders award" to Paul Hicks who birded with us the first day and was a huge help on planning our trip.

The Opperman book was extremely helpful.. We found the directions to be very accurate and the information was of great help.. We could not have done the trip without the book.
