It is my understanding that the property on Biscuit Ridge, Walla Walla
County, where I found Green-tailed Towhee in the 1980's while living in
Walla Walla, has been posted "no trespassing" and that fence posts were in
place on the whole down slope area for future fencing for at least the past
month. It is unfortunate that this property will no longer be available to
birders, but it is privately owned and the landowner has every right to
fence the property and restrict access.
