I saw an Osprey this morning with a fish off Golden Gardens Park, 10 AM
ish, flying South. I lost sight before it reaached the Ship Canal.
(this is a mile or so south of North Beach)

> Yesterday three ospreys were circling off the beach I observe, just south of Carkeek Park near Blue Ridge. There did not seem to be any rivalry or alarm among them, but I think its too early for any chicks to have fledged. One dove and came up with a fish. It circled for a long time carrying the fish. Another was seen a short time later with a fish and flew off toward North Beach. I do not know where these ospreys nest, and would like to know - if there is anything I can do to ensure their habitat remains undisturbed and available for them to return from migration next year.
