Greetings All

Well, the alcid seen of Cultus Bay by the WOSTrip on 1 July remains unidentified -- though observed in excellent light (though at fair distance) for a long time by a number of experienced observers who agreed on all marks.

We successfully eliminated all known species from contention.

We hereby (or is it hearby?) propose a new species: OcCultus Murrelet. Pun intended.

Goes to show, not all birds can be identified.
