Early yesterday, before the rain started there was plenty of action at the fill.
The Virginia Rails were still there and I was able to photograph a Blue Winged Teal, Green Heron, House Finch and , yes, an unidentified duck. The pictures are poor but it was a uniform dark brown with a white chest and was catching and eating quite large fish.
