Hello:

The young female was released on her home "cliff" - the Washington Mutual
Tower - late yesterday afternoon. As expected, she flew right away and
appeared strong in flight.
There was a lot of activity around the tower today that appeared typical of
a young bird and watchful adults. The adults will feed her and protect her
from winged or human threats until she achieves independence, but they can't
protect her from her own inexperience or from just plain bad luck.
We wish her good luck.
