The Hooded Oriole made a very brief appearance in Magnolia, at
7:10AM, Friday 7/14.
We had been at the bottom of the cul de sac downhill from the
intersection of Montford and Magnolia for about half an hour when
the bird silently hopped on to a mid story branch of the pine
closest to the dark brown house. It perched on two branches for about
a minute and then flew downhill. It may have been more active later
in the AM, but we had to get to work.
