To add to the raven thread. We moved here about 20 years ago, the only
ravens we saw were on Mt Rainier. Having sheep and renting pastures all
around the area, I was fairly familiar with all the scavengers in our area.
About 8 or so years ago, I heard a ravens in the sheep pasture I was
renting, I went looking for them, but they took to the woods and though I
could hear them, I never saw them. So I waited to hear them and see them on
or near our property, and slowly they started to appear. Now I hear them
daily and if I am lucky see them flying overhead. We do not have many crows
here, as they are very shy of people around this farm area, and for good
reason.
