About a week ago an Osprey was sitting in the water of the Sound below our
house. A Great Blue Heron worked down the beach beginning about 100 yards up
from the Osprey. When the Heron got within a foot of the Osprey, the Osprey
took off.

Next day, the Osprey was sitting on the top of a tree about 200 feet from
the water. The Osprey was dive bombed by a Heron and took off.
