Subject: [Tweeters] Whimbrel at Vashon Island's KVI Beach

From: Ed Swan - edswan at centurytel.net

A Whimbrel was out on the sandspit at low tide this afternoon at Vashon Island's KVI Beach, later moving to some cobble stone/sort of rocky shore after being disturbed by dogs and beach goers. This is the fourth record for Vashon with two spring migration and two fall migration occurrences.
