Had to run up to Ellensburg this morning, so after I got done with my stuff,
took a quick detour out the Vantage highway to check on the Northern
Mockingbirds that have been reported at milepost 26. I found both adults
sitting up on sage on the south side of the road right at MP 26. They were
both uttering call notes, while I could not see any evidence of nesting,
they were exhibiting behavior, including call notes of what I've seen before
with nesting Mockers.
