Subject: [Tweeters] Hummingbird bathing

My energy level today was perfect for sitting for a couple of hours in the
woods so I picked a spot where the small stream still has a trickle of water
which runs into a small pool. A female hummingbird flew up and landed on a
tiny twig, which then bent under its weight enough that the bird could
splash water on itself. The light was filtering through the trees and the
sparkling drops refracted and enhanced the birds beautiful irredescent
greens. It was like a jewel had come to life to splash in the water. And
then, with a zip, it was gone.
