Subject: [Tweeters] Black Phoebes in Clatsop Co

In the space of a week two BLACK PHOEBES were located in Clatsop
Co.. The first, an apparent hatch-year bird was seen and
photographed at Circle Creek just south of Seaside. A second,
apparent adult was found on Neacoxie Creek along the Fort to Sea
trail just north of Sunset Lake.

Given that there is credible evidence that Black Phoebes are
breeding in Tillamook Co, it may be fruitful to start checking
appropriate habitat in Pacific and Wahkiakum Cos. for dispersed
or territorial individuals....
