Gayle,

Traveler's Rest is the name of a building that houses a set if public bathrooms and, more recently, a coffee shop. The coffee shop used to be a small grocery. It's located at the eastern end of the summit, past the large gas station (a Chevron, I believe) There are birding areas just across the street from Traveler's Rest and also at the west end of the summit near the ski lifts.

Headed over Snoqualmie Pass this weekend. Several posts and a mention in Hal Opperman's book refers to "Travelers Rest" (p. 269). Is there a specific something that is Travelers Rest? A rest stop? A parking lot? An espresso drive-through? Did try goggling "Travelers Rest." Not very helpful.

Thanks.
