Turkey Vulture sightings.
On 7/23, 1 TUVU over the highway a couple of miles north of Oak Harbor. It?s
certainly vulture weather!
Awhile back I was watching a Glaucous-winged Gull for no particular
reason. It was sitting in a bay when a small fish jumped out of the water
right alongside. The gull turned it?s head and caught the fish in midair. I
wouldn?t have believed it if I hadn?t seen it.
Fish gotta fly, birds gotta swim!
