Hummingbird bander/researcher Dan Harville retrapped a Rufous hummingbird at Snoqualmie Pass last week that he originally
banded on 7/18/2001 as an adult. Thus, by Bird Banding Lab rules (i.e., all birds are born on June 1st), she's at least 6 years 1 month old.

A bander in Arizona just retrapped a Black-chinned hummer that was
officially 10 years 1 month old, surpassing the old record by almost a year.
