Oops!!

I deleted that message about a bird accidentally getting into a car...

Once, when I was stationed in Arizona and was on a picnic, two curious
Cactus Wrens made themselves right at home, exploring every nook and cranny of the
inside of our car.

Anything can happen in Arizona: my house had sliding glass doors onto a
patio..Almost every day during breeding season, a male Roadrunner approached the
doors in mid-morning and tapped on the glass. I obediently opened the
doors, carefully put a bowl of dry dog food down, and retreated.
I'm sure there are more wonderful bird stories out there -- Cheers!
