In Juanita Bay Park, yesterday (Sat.) saw a juvenile Green Heron in the
Beaver Pond, and this morning saw an adult along the shore, hunkered at the
edge of the reeds, between the east viewing platform and west walkway.
Yesterday's was a first sighting of this bird for me, and a great one it
was, as the bird sat out in the open on a snag for a good 8 to 10 minutes,
no more than 40 feet away. Dee Warnock
