Hi--

Henry Noble and I saw a male Northern Bobwhite this morning at the
Montlake Fill. Two of the grounds crew had spotted it at the far edge of
the big parkinglot adjoining the area of newly restored habitat. It
stood there frozen for a long time and let us study it at close range,
and then disappeared back into the grass.

We also saw a Green Heron at the Dime-lot pond.
