Greetings, Tweeters, from the Snoqualmie Valley just a bit northeast
of Duvall.

Each afternoon for the past several days (July 38-31) we've seen a
leucistic/nearly all-albino tree swallow diving hither-and-yon in our
own and neighboring pastures along with his/her barn and tree swallow
compatriots. This is a startling, very nearly all-white swallow with
the exception being a very small, lateral, nearly rectangular pale
fawn coloring just below the bird's nape and between its scapulars.
It's easy both to spot this bird *and* keep it in sight, but I've
still not been quick enough to get a photograph.
