Sightings for Wednesday, July 26

An AMERICAN BITTERN was observed hunting in the marsh
of the North Outer Pond at Iona Island in Richmond.


Sightings for Tuesday, July 25

A WILLET was observed in White Rock between the White Rock pier and
the large "white rock" located on the beach. At Point Roberts in
Washington, 2 HUTTON'S VIREOS were seen and 10 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS were
present at Lighthouse Marine Park.


Sightings for Friday, July 21

The adult LITTLE STINT in worn alternate plumage was last seen on
the Inner Ponds at Iona Island in Richmond from 9:30 am to 11:30 AM
in the company of 10 Least Sandpipers.


Sightings for Thursday, July 20

The adult LITTLE STINT in worn alternate plumage continues on the SW
Pond at Iona Island in Richmond. It was reported from around 3 PM to
about 7:30 PM when the peeps were all chased out by a hunting MERLIN.


Sightings for Wednesday, July 19

At around 4:30 pm tonight an adult LITTLE STINT in worn alternate
plumage was discovered on the SW Pond at Iona Island in Richmond. A
PEREGRINE FALCON was again seen over the Port Mann Bridge
between Coquitlam and Surrey.


Sightings for Tuesday, July 18

10 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were observed in the evening over
Como Lake in Coquitlam.
