Hi folks,

Sad news, just a small geographic note, the nest visible from the locks
and from Ballard off Seaview Ave is in Magnolia, in what I would call
Lawtoneood but others call Bay Terrace. Its the spit of land that
sticks out N of Discovery Park. A good viewpoint is thee 6oth Ave
viewpoint on Seaview Avenue in Ballard. Look across the water for the
tallest tree with a tuft on top, thats the lookout tree, the nest is in
the next tree to the right with an almost flat V shaped top. (Looks like
an Atlas Cedar) That's assuming they're in the the same tree. You can't
see the nest from there but you can see them nearby often. I'll try to
look tomorrow is there's a place to park. (My Dad's 89 now and can't
walk far and I don't want to leave him alone in the car if I'm not
right there.)
