Hi:



There are lots of Purple Martins in the area between Harbor Lights and the
Dickman Mill on Ruston Way in Tacoma. Because there are so many Barn
Swallows in the area it took me a few days to recognize these guys as a
different bird.



I don't know how long the swallow boxes have been on the pilings in that
area but kudos to whoever tacked them up there. They are doing a fantastic
job of attracting them.
