Hi Tweets,

We have a little less than an acre with a water feature in the back
yard on Union Hill, Redmond, just south of Redmond Ridge (ugh).

Three times in the past week I've noticed a beautiful Wilsons Warbler
come down into the Creeping Jenny & Ajuga around the stream when the
leaves are covered with water drops, as if s/he's showering. But then
s/he goes on into the stream and bathes. Strange, eh? It doesn't
look like the bird is feeding in the ground cover, just getting
prepped for a bath.

We also have up to 18 Band-tailed Pigeons hanging aroung the wildlife
feeder block and corn (for the Mallards that fly in two or three times
a day). The Grey Squirrels try to chase the pigeons away from the
food, but there are just too many to cope with, so the squirrels
finally retreat to their own feeders and chatter at the pigeons. The
Red Squirrels don't bother, but they chatter ALL the time, anyway.

And all the action seems to keep the crows away. We've only seen one
in the last two months. Hmmm.
