Tweets,

I birded Stillwater to Duvall (n King County, Snoqualmie Valley) this morning early. Nothing extraordinary but found at least two singing RED-EYED VIREOs, my first of the year, which seems late. The male WESTERN BLUEBIRD put in an appearance at its spot at Stillwater, so perhaps the female is on eggs? Tons of Willow Flycatchers and Black-headed Grosbeaks, etc. A RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was caring for young at a nest in an alder snag at the gate for the road into the Bank Swallow colony.
