Hello All,
MerryLynn and I started out at Bennington Lake with a Least Flycatcher
calling loudly. Then on to Lyons Ferry Park where we ran into Steve and
Casey Mlodinow and Patrick and Ruth Sullivan for a pleasent surprise. The
highlights of our trip are as follows.........

Ivy Cemetary, Prescott, Walla Walla Co.
Western Tanager.......1 male
Vaux's Swift..............10 birds

Lyon's Ferry Park
Townsends Warbler......1 male
Wilsons Warbler............1 bird

Palouse Falls SP
Ferruginous Hawk........1 ad.
Grasshopper Sparrow...2 birds
White-throated Swift.....8 birds

Nunamaker Rd., Franklin Co.
Grasshopper Sparrow.......4 birds

Washtucna, Adams Co.
Hammonds Flycatcher......1 bird
Western Flycatcher............1 bird
Western Tanager................1 bird
Bewicks Wren....................2 birds
Eurasian Collard Dove........3 birds

Ellenger Farm Sted, Adams Co. ( 7 miles north of Washtucna)
Townsends Warbler..........2 males
Townsends X Hermit Hybrid Warbler....1 male ( very rare for location and
unexpected)
Wilsons Warbler...............3 birds
Gray Catbird....................1 adult bird ( first 4 me in Adams Co.)
Yellow-rumped Warbler ( Myrtles race)...1 male ( very rare at location and
for date)

Well that is it for now. This was a beautiful day and it was fun running
into other birders!
