Hello Birders,

We have just updated our website with many new photos taken this past weekend while searching for migrant passerines in eastern WA. Many of the photos were taken in and around Bassett Park in Washtucna since our main efforts were made there. We enjoyed watching the Wild Turkeys at Bassett Park, where the wandered from one end of the park to the other,as well as nearby yards even perching high atop a few dead deciduous trees. Hopefully the Wild Turkey population here won't get too big that they'll overtake the small town of Washtucna! We also obtained additional photos of one of the 2 Am.Redstarts at Bassett Park being a singing immature male bird,as well as a Red-eyed Vireo nearby in the same tree. It was at times challenge to photograph both of the latter species, which we mainly obtained for proof since they are rare migrants at the location. Our latest photos can be accessed at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/recent_photos/

We hope you all will enjoy our latest photos!

Sincerely,

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
