Those of us at the Wenas Campout on Memorial Day were fortunate in being
invited to bird on private farm land not far from Hardy Canyon. It was a
remarkable experience with a new species spotted every few yards. The
owner has extended the invitation to experienced birders who might come
and help located specific species. There are plans for development of
these farm lands which would change the landscape drastically. If only 5
specific species are found, that would help protect the land. If you
would be interested in birding and thus helping or for further
