Received a phone call from Russ Koppendrayer who had just seen a
Bay-breasted Warbler in southern Lewis Co.

Directions are go east from Castle Rock on Hwy 504 18.2 miles.

Turn north on FR 1900.

Take FR 1901 for 2.3 miles (which goes straight ahead when FR 1900 turns)

park at intersection and walk 1/10th mile on FR 1909

Bay-breasted came out to pishing.

This is an extremely rare bird for the northwest. They do breed in Alberta,
Canada. I have seen them in spruce forest at Churchill Prov. Park northeast
of Edmonton.
