There is a new bird flying around the neighborhood, at least new for me.
I'm just north of Arlington in the Bryant area.
It is definitely a swift, but as it is only seen in the evenings - it is
hard to get good field marks against the evening sky.
Two birds, flying together, about the right size and shape for Vaux's.
Having seen them before, they are the characteristic cigar with wings.
Is this an unusual sighting for Snohomish County?
