A couple months back, I think, someone posted a Chukar sighting in
Sammamish.

Well, this morning as I was walking out of the Pine Lake Club, the
bird was hanging out behind the QFC (2902 228th Ave SE, Sammamish).
I was still pulling my jaw off the pavement when I heard a grocer
yell out: "Hey, Charlie's back!".

I got to talking to the grocer. Evidently, Charlie's been present
for "weeks" due in large part, I believe, to people feeding it. I
don't know whose collection he escaped from, but if folks want a
nice look at this handsome game bird, here's their chance.
