I went to Ahtanum today and got rained on bit, but didn't shrink, dang it. I did, however, find the pileated woodpeckers, who are nesting in the same area as last year. I also found a cooperative hairy woodpecker and a Western wood peewee. I noted white-headed woodpeckers nesting there too, along with flickers, downy woodpeckers, red-naped sapsuckers, Williamson's sapsuckers and lots of warblers flitting around.
