When I arrived at 12:18 PM I did not hear the
Bay-breasted Warbler. After half hour it came
closer to FR 1901 then worked its way east. But
initially it may have been singing much farther
to the west of intersection FR 1901 and FR 1909.
It also flew east across the right fork beyond
the gate ( FR 500) where I saw it sort of
following a bird lower in the alder. Could have
been another warbler but more likely a chickadee.
The mist got heavier as the hour wore on, but
that did not stop the bird's vocalizations. When
I left at 1:20 PM I could hear it from the main
intersection of FR 1901 and 1909
It had some song variants, but here is a sonogram
