I've got some pictures of a dove that landed on my pickup and one of my
co-workers in March, 2004 (roughly). This was in Thurston County, not far
from Millersylvania State Park. I didn't know what it was at the time but,
now that I've looked at pictures of the Eurasian Collared Dove, I believe
that is what it was. None of my pictures show the black"collar", just a
white collar on the back of the neck. I can email pictures to anyone
interested. I haven't been following any discussions on this species (until
now) so I may not know what everyone else knows about this species in
western Washington.
