Had a singing Red-Eyed Vireo today at Tiny's Land early this morn. Seems
like mid-June is always a good time for wandering single birds to show up at
lowland sites in wWA that are away from known breeding areas/riparian
corridors. For us the RE Vireo is a sporadic June-Aug visitor, and singles
show up most years on passage each year in early Sept. We also had a
Cassin's Vireo back on May 13, that species is less common here.
