Ken, (And anyone else who may be interested)

Point-No-Point itself is a lighthouse area on the eastern edge of the map you included. It is open to the public and offers a north facing and an east facing beach, plus a wetland to the south and west of the lighthouse. About a quarter mile before the lighthouse parking, there is a large lawn on your left, behind a cyclone fence. This is Vic Nelson's front yard. There are always great birds at the feeders next to the small trailer parked there. We recently saw female Yellow-headed Blackbirds here. Be sure to follow the trail south of the lighthouse itself, running between the beach and the wetland. Lotsa good "bush birds" in there.

Buck Lake is a large county park west of the point and up the hill. At the southwaet corner of the large lawn area is a trailhead that leads into the Hansville Greenway. This maze of trails has a wide variety of habitats well worth a couple of hours by themselves. Be sure to stop at the Hansville Store and donate a couple of bucks to their "potty fund".

Enjoy!

I'm going to Kitsap this weekend and hoping to get out to Point No Point. The directions on birdweb.org aren't very clear. What areas are available for birding? Just the little park or the whole point?

Here's a link to a map of the point. I can see the park but I'm not sure where to go: http://tinyurl.com/f2upp
