I have some exciting news! A nearly complete fossil
skeleton of the ancient bird, Gansus yumenesis, has
been described today in SCIENCE magazine. this is an
amazing fossil for so many reasons and will
signficantly add to the extisting information that
scientists have regarding how birds evolved. I am also
pleased to say that the authors of this paper have
been so very kind to me, and trusted me for many
months with this very exciting secret. They will
respond to reader comments (well, after they come back
