Hi all,
I've been lurking here a while, and this is my first posting. I'm a driver
for Shuttle Express and see alot, but have no time for 'real' birding. Here,
though, are my on-the-road sightings of raptors in the Seattle area:

39 Bald Eagles, including 9 circling together over Kenmore, 6/13/06
7 Ospreys, including one circling with a P.F.(!) over 1st Ave S & S Hudson
St 6/9/06
2 Peregrine Falcons, one w/ the osprey, one at Carkeek Pk beach 6/8/06
1 Northern Harrier
1 Golden Eagle, yep, a G.E. on a rock in a vacant lot north of downtown
Renton 5/14/06, surrounded by a perfect circle of crows at a very respectful
distance. (Reminded me of a Mafia don with his 'made' men!)

I have no way to determine how many of the sightings represent
double-counted individuals, but there you go.

Larry Lewis
