Hello, all. I just graduated with a Wildlife Science degree and I was
looking to see if any of you out there knew of any job openings in the field
of wildlife or birds. I have experience with birds, native plants, mammals
and herps. I am talking to audubon about what is available with them, but I
was wondering if any of you know of any other potential resources.

Any adivce would be highly appreciated. I would especially love advice from
the Puget Sound and W. Washington area, but anything in Washington would be
wonderful.

On a birding note, I have a family of red-breasted sapsuckers that have been
hanging out in the trees just outside my apartment in the Seattle area.
Their appears to be 2 adults and two juveniles. The adults have made rows
of several new sap-wells on the Scouler's Willows outside my widows and they
seem to have become the "nursery trees" so to speak, for the young
sapsuckers. That is to say, the young sapsuckers remain their for the
entire day, moving up and down the 3 or 4 trees but remaining in the same
patch. The wells seem to feed both the adults and juveniles, though the
adults are constantly making trips to gather more insects for their young.
Its so wonderful to be witness to such a vital time in the lives of these
birds.

Cheers,

Filip T.
