One place that I keep seeing Scrub Jays is on 16th Avenue directly
south of Swedish Providence hospital in Seattle. I frequent the area
once or twice a month and have seen one or two Scrub Jays the four
times, including the last three times. One time, two were mobbing a
squirrel. I wonder if they are breeding there; they certainly seem to
be residing in that spot. Reliably, I pull up to park and either a
Scrub Jay pops out of the trees on the west side of the street or I get
out the car and hear one shrieking. This is about halfway down the
block between Jefferson St. and whatever the street is directly south
of Jefferson.

Within the past five years, I have seen one Scrub Jay in my yard on two
occasions, visiting my deck and feeder.
