Well, I finally got a good look today into the nest, and both eaglets are doing just fine. The parents appear not to be there nearly as often. This may be the reason the crows haven't been making such a fuss, and thus it appeared there was nothing going on.
It was amusing to see this huge eaglet; watching a Yellow Rumped Warbler just over it's head, and the eaglet was ducking, and seem rather amazed. Then a starling flew close by and startled the same eaglet, it was just funny to watch! What a baby! Later this same eaglet appeared to be stomping on something in the nest. As though there was something dead, and it was practicing. The pair of eaglets also spent some time being rather irritated with one another, as one would flap it's wings vigorously, and hit the other in the head. Then they took turns 'biting' and making 'jabs' at each other, I guess they are feeling the nest is getting too small!
