Subject: [Tweeters] Ballard Bridge P. Falcon

I have repeatedly seen a very large, peregrine falcon hunting around the
Ballard Bridge. I have made about 7 sightings of this bird in the past 2
weeks. Judging by its size, I assumed it was a female and it plumage
appeared to be that of a adult bird. Does any one know of a nearby breeding
pair of peregrine falcons? I have heard there are several in the Seattle
area, but the only one I was familiar with for any extended period of time
was the pair near the UW campus.
I heard that the Seattle Audubon sometimes does field trips to see the
falcon pairs in the Seattle area. I would love to be part of one of those.
Also, as a side note for those of you community minded folks who might be
interested, there is a concert happening in early June. Dana Lyons, a local
environmentalist singer and song writer will be the main attraction. I
strongly encourage you to come and support a great cause. Tickets are
cheap, too. Info below:
