Tweets,
I'm sure you have encountered strange objects in the many hours you have
logged in the out-of-doors. Lately I've been leaving odd things behind my
birding sites. I'm finally needing to "admit" to one such incident. (Don't
laugh...) Did anyone happen to pick up a scope and tripod at the first
bridge northbound on "M" Rd from Sullivan Dam? (You're laughing.) Seriously,
by the time I discovered the "oversight" and returned to retrieve it, it was
gone. I could entertain you further by listing all the recent items "missing
in action," but I'll save that for my grandchildren. Chalk it up to being
highly "focused" (or unfocused), extremely sleep deprived while
bird-bingeing, or early Alzheimer's. Oh, the missing equipment was not a
huge investment, but replacing it is certainly not as attractive as
recovering it!
Good birding!
