Hi All,

I'm responding to Terry Little's request for info on BTSP copied below.
I saw this species .8 mile north of Wanapum State Park on our way to the
WOS conference on 6/13. It had been raining since Ellensburg when we
reached Huntsinger road and began to follow Paul Cozens good advice to
listen out both sides of the car as we drove (very slowly in our case)
south toward the park. Besides nice views of Lark Sparrow and Rock
Wren, everything was down but murmuring, even Meadowlark was pretty
quiet and completely invisible. At the park entrance we turned around
and set the trip meter, driving even slower back up north on the road.
At .8 we could hear them on both sides of the road. We got out and
looked until Alan was tired of being rained on. I put on a bit more of
an effort and a male popped up to the top of a nearby big sage and gave
me the full song top to bottom for a couple minutes. Beautiful. I
wonder if they're nesting, he was so responsive.

Hello Friends,

Would someone be kind enough to refresh on the location of Black Throated
Sparrows on Huntzinger Rd? I will be in Vantage next Thursday and may have
the opportunity to take a look!

Thanks a lot
