The HOODED ORIOLE was seen at about 8:15 this morning. The location was the cul-de-sac across Magnolia Blvd from Montfort. As you walk down this short street, you will see a large metal bird feeder hanger on your right (look up). A very nice lady was putting up the feeder as we watched the oriole in the tree across the street. She claimed that the yellow bird comes to the feeder. When we saw the oriole, there was a good number of HOUSE SPARROWS in the tree as well, and they were flying back and forth from the feeder to the tree. So look for this tube feeder, or at least the hanger, if the feeder is not there, and check out nearby trees. Perhaps this may help some to find this bird. Oh, and Matt, your record is safe!
