Hi tweets,

If you'll be near the Portland-Vancouver area this weekend, be sure to look
for the Bay-breasted Warbler near Castle Rock. I was there Wednesday about
noon and with the help of a Portland birder Dave, was able to get good scope
views of that very attractive warbler. After that I ticked the Clay-colored
Sparrow and since I seemed to be on a roll, I visited the Mima Mounds for
the first time looking for N. Bobwhite. No luck, but the mounds alone are
worth a visit. A very surreal experience, and a nice walk, too.

Good birding, Alan Roedell, Seattle roedell at speakeasy.net
