Hello All,
This morning MerryLynn and I went out west along the Columbia River and saw
the following species..........

WWRdelta

Black Tern.....1 adult, this is a rare summer record as this species does
not breed here in the Lower Columbia Basin.
Northern Pintail....24 birds out on the delta. Large flock for the season.
California Gulls......2 HYB out on the delta. seems early.
Osprey..................1 pair fishing off the delta.

Iowa Beef Ponds.....train on tracks blocking view, but we did see........

Black-crowned Night-Herons......10 ad. males once again catching Tiger
Salamander larve.

Later Mike
