Hello all,
Thought I would report that we still have 2 Least Flycatchers apparently on
territory in the county - 1 at the S. E. corner of Bennington Lake and 1 at
the junction of McCown and N. F. Coppei Creek road. We have not been able to
find 2 birds at either location but will keep looking - would be great to
find a nest!!
Coppei Creek at the "T" is loaded with birds as usual - the chats, catbirds,
orioles, veery, kingbirds, buntings and grosbeaks are very vocal now and
catching insects right in the road at least this morning.
Later, MerryLynn
