Hi all,

I went over to Magnolia this morning to look for the Hooded Oriole. It was
quite windy and didn?t have much luck for the first hour or so. Then at
7:25am I started hearing Hooded Oriole flight notes (the _veer_ calls, which
are also commonly given by Hooded Orioles when perched). The male _nelsoni_
Hooded Oriole soon flew up the hill where it sat up briefly and soon
disappeared. I was standing just west of the house that is under
construction, which has been described in previous posts. This is just up W
Raye St. from its intersection with Perkins Lane.
